It’s Friday again, and the weekend is almost here! But before we get there, we’ve got the Morning Daily News Update! We’ve also got two new blog offerings from yesterday as well. First, we’ve got Sonic Reducer’s review of the latest WWE Evolve, and we’ve also got Scott Herrin’s review of the latest TNA Impact.
TNA Bound for Glory card finalised, new title match set
TNA has finalised the card for Bound for Glory, taking place this Sunday. The final match was added to the card yesterday as The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) will defend their Knockouts Tag Team Title against The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) in the pre-show.
Raja Jackson Enters Not Guilty Plea In Syko Stu Battery Case
MMA fighter Raja Jackson has entered a not guilty plea on two charges of battery, one of which is a felony charge that could see him serve up to seven years in prison if he is found guilty. Jackson is accused of assaulting independent wrestler Syko Stu at a KnokX Pro event on August 23, when a planned spot turned real as Jackson viciously beat Stu in the middle of the ring, leaving him with numerous facial injuries, and he spent a few days in intensive care.
WWE NXT wrestler injured at house show
More wrestling injury news rolls in as NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne has reportedly suffered a leg injury at an NXT house show last night in Columbus, Ohio. Jayne suffered the apparent injury in a tag match where she teamed with Fallon Henley to take on Sol Ruca and Zaria. The report suggests that Jayne has suffered a quadriceps injury, and she had to be assisted by medical personnel to the back after the tag match.
Former Champion Returns To A WWE Ring For The First Time In 18 Months
In more news from the NXT live event last night, Omos made his return to a WWE ring after last competing on an episode of SmackDown on April 5, 2024. Omos has competed in other promotions since then, having a stint in NOAH in January of this year, and he won the Copa Bardahl Cibernetico at AAA’s TripleMania XXXII on August 16. In the match last night, Omos defeated Lexis King by hitting a chokeslam to pick up a pinfall victory.
