We made it through Monday again, and we’re back for our Tuesday Morning Daily News! A bunch of new stuff dropped on the blog yesterday. First, we’ve got Sonic Reducer’s WWE LFG Season 2 Finale review, Rock Star Gary reviewed WCCW from May 21, 1988, Jabroniville posted a new Joshi Spotlight, LScisco has new WTWWW for WWF Wrestling Challenge from June 12, 1994, Phrederic has reviewed AJPW’s 12 King’s Road Tournament for September 15, and Kat has given us the latest WWE Raw review from last night!
Roman Reigns – Bronson Reed Australian Street Fight Set For Crown Jewel
Roman Reigns will face Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel in an Australian Street Fight. A report surfaced yesterday from Dave Meltzer that Reigns vs. Reed was internally added to the Crown Jewel lineup, and last night on Raw, it was officially confirmed as Reigns opened the show before Reed and Paul Heyman interrupted and Reigns challenged Reed to a match right then and there. Heyman declined and instead, on Reed’s behalf, challenged Reigns to a match at Crown Jewel, with the added stipulation being that the match would be an Australian Street Fight.
WWE Has Chosen John Cena’s Final Opponent
It has been reported that John Cena’s final opponent has been internally selected by WWE and that he will face Gunther in his last-ever match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. Dave Meltzer reported that the company had chosen Gunther to be Cena’s final opponent and that a tournament may be held to be used as the storyline device to have Gunther be Cena’s final opponent.
Hulk Hogan’s Estate Signals Potential Malpractice Lawsuit With Filing
Hulk Hogan’s family have reportedly filed a petition in Pinellas County to seek a 90-day extension of Florida’s statute of limitations to investigate a possible medical malpractice claim. Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, his son Nick Bollea, and Hogan’s financial advisor Terry McCoy are representing the late WWE Hall of Famer’s estate.
WWE star Bayley launching ‘passion project’ to help women’s wrestlers
Bailey announced on social media via a video yesterday that she will be holding a free three-day pro wrestling seminar for women wrestlers in Orlando, Florida, between December 4-6. The seminar has limited availability and is only available to those who already have experience in wrestling, and Bayley said in the video that applicants must send their basic info and videos of their past matches to “[email protected]”.
