Evening Daily News Update

By Garth Holmberg on 29 September 2025

Good evening, doomers! Monday means Week 4 of the NFL is mostly in the books, save for a couple of butt dumpling nothing-burgers for a MNF Double Header. The Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles remain the only undefeated teams, the New York Giants took home the W at the cost of a season-ending injury to Malik Nabers, and the Baltimore Ravens exposed themselves as pretenders against the 2000 Yankee version of the Kansas City Chiefs. We’ve got Jets/Dolphins and Bengals/Broncos, so you’re better off catching Monday Night Raw, which offers up the following; Dominik defends the IC Title against Rusev, Bayley takes on Raquel Rodriguez, the Usos battle THE VISION in a Tornado Tag, AJ and Dragon Lee face Los Americanos, and we’ve got appearances from Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky as well.

Check out Niz’s coverage of the latest episode of AEW Collision, Rock Star Gary brings us the May 14th, 1988 episode of World Class, Alex has Part XVI of Mitsuharu Misawa books, Jabroniville gifts a new edition of Joshi Spotlight, covering more GAEA Japan from Spring 2001, and Logan’s World Was Watching the June 5th, 1994 episode of Challenge. Actually, I might have watched All-American. At this point, they introduced a segment called “Memory Lane” where they would show clips of old matches (mostly from the mid 70’s through early 80’s, but snuck in Roberts/Martel from Mania 7 as the only “modern” match, with Andre/Studd at Mania 1 the next closest in the timeline).

The Blade Gives Update on Spinal Fusion Surgery
The Blade went under the knife last Fall and hasn’t wrestled since early in 2024. Blade’s wife, The Bunny, recently returned to the ring herself, competing for Evil Uno’s Mystery Wrestling for All Out weekend.
