Evening Daily News Update
By Garth Holmberg on 19 September 2025
Good evening, doomers! TGIF and all that stuff. Friday Night Smackdown is our last stop before WWE Wrestlepalooza (and we laughed at “Great Balls of Fire”?), with… uh… Cody Rhodes appearing. Oh, and Natural Bliss defends their Tag Titles against Alba Fyre and Chelsea Green. Brock Lesnar is also scheduled to make an appearance. Tomorrow we’ll get a double header of WWE and AEW premium content, with Scott tackling the All Out Rant and Kat covering Wrestlepalooza for us. Also, CMLL Anniversario, but we’re all poor from Cheeto Man killing America, so we won’t be watching it.
Check out the latest columns, including Sonic’s coverage of WWE Evolve, Saherrin’s recap of TNA Impact, and Mike Reviews WCW Fall Brawl 1995 (featuring the most WWF version of WarGames you could possibly imagine).

Toni Storm Says Tony Khan Turns Down Dumb Ideas
If what we get is some of the stuff he approves, I’d love to see the stuff even he finds ridiculous to put on TV.
