Cody Rhodes Felt ‘Disrespected’ In AEW & ‘Wouldn’t Stand For It’

A clip from Cody Rhodes’ appearance on the Bill Simmons Podcast has surfaced of why the former Undisputed WWE Champ left AEW and said that while he does have respect and love for the promotion, there is still bad blood between himself and the company. Rhodes said that he felt “disrespected” at AEW, and that was the reason he left.

Drew McIntyre Addresses SummerSlam Status After Being Stranded In The UK

Drew McIntyre has provided an update on his SummerSlam status after being stranded in England, and The Scottish Warrior will, in fact, be available for SummerSlam this weekend. McIntyre said that Logan Paul used his powerful connections to get his passport issues sorted and got him on a private jet back to the States.

AAA Executive: Many In WWE Want Alberto El Patron Return

AAA executive Ernesto Campo has said that there are many people within WWE who want to see the former Alberto Del Rio back on the main roster. Del Rio recently lost a match where, if he had lost, he had to leave AAA, and has since departed the promotion as a result of the match. However, Campo wants to see Del Rio return to AAA programming in the near future.

Karrion Kross Addresses Rumors About His WWE Contract Status

Karrion Kross has spoken about reports that his and Scarlett’s WWE contracts are set to expire in August and that, as of a few weeks ago, he and Scarlett had not been approached about extending their contracts. Kross was cryptic in his response to the rumours, stating that he “doesn’t think I should talk about any of it right now” and that he is “hoping that when the time is right, everyone will know what’s going on, including us.”
