Evening Daily News Update

Happy evening, Doomgoers! I hope you’ve had a peaceful Sunday. I am touching grass with friends around the time this is posted, so hopefully no big news happens between the time I type this and the time you read this. (Last time I tried this, WWE purchased AAA.)
The wrestling is plentiful as always tonight. TNA presents Slammiversary, which looks to have its bigger crowd in many years. AJ Styles will be making an appearance. Trick Williams defends the TNA World Title against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana, plus we have a winner take all match between TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne. You can watch it however you usually watch TNA PPVs.
If retro is more your style, WWE Vault is streaming SummerSlam 1991 tonight at 7 p.m. EST and I’m sure the usual crew will be live watching it in the comments. It’s a match made in Heaven – the wedding of Macho Man Randy Savage and Elizabeth! But then there’s a MATCH MADE IN HELLLLLLL with Hulk Hogan & Ultimate Warrior against Sgt. Slaughter and the Triangle of Terror. Plus, Bret Hart tries to win the Intercontinental Title from Mr. Perfect, Big Boss Man or The Mountie is going to jail, and Virgil tries to take that Million Dollar Title from the evil Ted DiBiase.
Your Blog of Doom team have been hard at it, typing words into cell phones and computers. Scott has reviewed a 1991 Superstars that WWE Vault added yesterday, Niz watched AEW Collision, Maffew took a trip to IGF Genome2, and Alex is tossing five stars towards NOAH.
There isn’t much happening in the news, but I’ve found a few things for you.
