I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, which was chock-full of wrestling! But it’s Monday again, and we’re here with another round of Morning Daily News.

Naomi Wins WWE Women’s World Title & New Number One Contender Made Official At Evolution

Naomi successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase last night at Evolution by capitalising on a moment where both Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley were incapacitated to cash in before delivering the final blows to capture the WWE Women’s World Championship. Also, Stephanie Vaquer won the 20-woman Battle Royal to earn her right to challenge either the Women’s World Champion or the Women’s Champion at Clash in Paris on August 31.

Triple H Provides Update On Seth Rollins’ Injury

At the Evolution post-show press conference, Triple H provided an update on the injury Seth Rollins suffered during his match with LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. While “The Game” didn’t say exactly what the injury is, he did say that it “doesn’t look good” and that he is going to get an MRI to find out the extent of the damage.

Adam Cole Suffered Concussion In AEW Collision Match

It was reported that Adam Cole suffered a concussion during his match last Thursday on Collision, which forced him to miss his match at All In. It was previously reported that Cole had suffered an undisclosed injury that made him miss his title defence, but a new update has stated that he received a concussion during his trios match, where he teamed up with Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong to face Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, and Trent Beretta.

WWE Star Announces Successful Surgery After Tearing ACL

In more wrestling injury news, NXT star Ariana Bennett shared that she suffered a major injury and that she has undergone surgery to repair a torn ACL. Bennett posted on social media, stating that the injury occurred a few weeks ago but didn’t want to let fans know until after the surgery. Bennett says that she is keeping things “fun and lighthearted” to get her through whilst she recovers.
