Dustin Rhodes Signs 6-Year AEW Deal As Kevin Von Erich Also Becomes All Elite
Dustin Rhodes signed a new AEW deal in December 2024, but it has only just come to light that the deal he signed was for a whopping 6 years. The deal will see him through until 2030 and would have him serve as a consultant, coach, occasional wrestler, and ambassador. And in other AEW contract news, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Von Erich has penned a deal with Tony Khan’s promotion, with the news breaking on Ross and Marshall Von Erich’s podcast. They said their father has signed a sort of legends deal with the company.
Enzo Amore Appears In TNA Impact Vignette
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was seen in a vignette that aired on last night’s episode of TNA Impact in what appeared to be a promotional video for WestSide Gunn’s Fourth Rope company. However, this video has led some fans to believe he may be debuting with TNA soon, while others think this may have just been a promotional video for Fourth Rope and nothing more.
ECW Legend Francine Announces She Is Cancer-Free
In happier news, “The Queen of Extreme” Francine announced that she is cancer-free! Francine spoke a little while back about discovering a lump in her breast and how she had dealt with breast cancer in the past. But she wrote on social media yesterday that she had gotten her biopsy results back and that no cancer was found.
Darby Allin Feeling ‘Surprisingly Great’ After Mount Everest Climb
Darby Allin has spoken about how he is doing following his climb of the world’s tallest mountain, Mt. Everest. Allin said that he is feeling “surprisingly great” following the climb, as he expected to be worse for wear given the physical toll such a feat takes on the body, but Allin said his body feels great, and he also feels great mentally, Allin also said he learned a lot about himself whilst making the climb up Everest.
