FROM THE PAGES OF THE BOD MAGAZINE, HERE’S UPDATE!
Good evening, Doomers! It’s Friday, and you know what that means! WWE Money in the Bank is tomorrow night, so we’ll see what Friday Night Smackdown can do to drum-up any last-minute interest. We have Cody and Jey Uso looking to confront John Cena and Logan Paul, a 6-Women’s Tag with Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and Alexa Bliss taking on Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Naomi, L.A. Knight battling Aleister Black, and MORE!
Rebel Undergoes Surgery
Former TNA Knockout and (current) AEW Personality Rebel (NOT REBA) underwent surgery to remove a tumor. She’s battled health concerns for the last year-plus, and we’re all hoping for everything to turn out OK.
Mercedes Mone Wins More Gold
Mercedes made an unexpected appearance and added to her collection of Championship belts. It’s going to be very obvious when she’s expected to lose some of these titles, we all know what her boo-hoo job face looks like, and we haven’t seen much of it since her departure from WWE.
YouTube Spotlight: ECW and AAA Collide in a Forgotten Crossover
Lucha Libre gets extreme in this rare 1995 match from a AAA show in Chicago, as Cactus Jack, Sabu and Psicosis team up to face Rey Mysterio, Super Calo and Winners.
The Indiana Pacers continue to do the impossible, stealing Game 1 from the Oklahoma City Thunder after trailing for the first 47 minutes 59.7 seconds of the game, and all this despite the Pacers committing nearly 20 turnovers in the first half alone! For those keeping track, that’s last minute leads of considerable size the Pacers have overcome in all four rounds of these playoffs. We’ll have to wait for Game 2 until Sunday Night, because they want to stretch the postseason out as much as possible.
If you’re looking to catch up on non-WWE and AEW content, Scott II has this week’s TNA Impact and you can check out Ring of Honor… well, I guess I just lied, since TNA has NXT crossover, and ROH is AEW Dark. If you’re looking for retro content, Mike reviews Great American Bash 1995 and LScisco brings us Wrestling Challenge from February 1994 in What the World Was Watching. Want some vintage cartoons? Megabucks brings us a detailed look at the Mario Bros. cartoons of the early 90’s!
