Peacock in Canada

Since the WWE Network is locked tight outside of the US now, I’ve had lots of people suggesting Peacock to me but they were also a pain to deal with, but I finally got it sorted today. Here’s how to make it happen as a Canadian:

  1. VPN to peacock.com as a US address and create an account.
  2. For payment method, you want to go buy a Peacock digital gift card at https://www.peacocktv.com/gift-cards. Still need to be “in the US” via VPN to access them.
  3. For payment method to buy the gift card, you need to use Google Pay, which can be linked to a Canadian credit card just fine.
  4. Get the gift card code, choose your Peacock plan and choose “Apply gift card” at the bottom underneath the credit card section. Then it’ll prompt you to enter your address, and you can just come up with whatever fake one you want in the US.

And done deal! Just VPN to PeacockTV.com as a US person and you’re good. As with many things, it’s ridiculously complicated and I much preferred the WWE Network just letting you use Paypal anywhere in the world, but it is what it is.
