Hart Foundation/WCW

On a episode of Nitro that had Curt Hennig vs Jim Neidhart, the NWO were beating down Bulldog and Neidhart till Bret Hart made save. It seemed like it was leading to a Hart Foundation Reunion to battle against the NWO with the end goal being Hart/Hogan (Bret got on the mic and said he was tearing the NWO down till he got to Hogan) and neither happened. The Hart Foundation Reunion lasted like what, a week? And Hart/Hogan never happened. Any reason why? Id wager Hulk pulled a power play on the Bret match but still doesn't explain the Hart Foundation stuff.
There’s actually a contractual reason for it, as Bulldog was only released from his contract in the condition that WCW could not pair him with Bret Hart or tease any kind of Hart Foundation stable.
