Live Notes from Elimination Chamber in Toronto

Hi Scott:

My sons and I were at the EC last night (up in the nosebleeds) and had a GREAT time. A few notes to share:
  • I have NEVER seen merch lines like those last night. The Superstore was over an hour wait when the doors opened at 5 and every other merch table had hundreds lined up.
  • I am a bit deaf as I get older but I could not hear either anthem over the crowd. Most of the crowd sat and booed lustily the US anthem and then everyone stood and sang the Canadian anthem. Don't recall ever hearing the anthems
    at previous PLE's (my sons and I were at EC in 2023 and MITB last year) so wasn't sure if it was the first of a few spectacular troll jobs last night
  • You were right about the commercials. Easy 10 – 15 minutes between matches. Kinda killed the crowd
  • I re-watched the how this morning and the crowd sounds way more into it than they did live. Again – deafness (maybe)
  • The heel live was INCREDIBLE. So cool to see that live.

Dude my basement’s soaked now. I want it to be under zero for another month so that it gets slowly warmer and gradually melts it away.
Also Cena should film vignettes where he goes to children’s hospitals and steals the toys back.
