On Gunther, a question

Scott Keith, I have to ask, and I throw this out to you and the BoD, let's go:
Gunther/WALTER – a top 10 wrestler of the 21st century? Over a decade in the same gimmick, always over, always heel, progressing from the European indies to the secondary title & the Raw main event, Mania, Saudi (ugh), improbably long title reigns at the highest level with a track record of lauded matches and a broad range of opponents. Got Ludwig Kaiser over by sheer proximity, perhaps not Vinci but hey, hardly a fleck on his overall contribution since making it to the big time. It's really crazy how similar he still is to the wrestler chopping skin off Zack Sabre Jr's chest all those years ago – and I would argue his talents are such that they need placing in a broader timeframe; I don't think anyone else has gotten over, with such consistency and acclaim, than the big man in the last decade.
So, I ask you and the rest of the fine folk in the Disqus – Gunther/WALTER top 10 in the last quarter-century: if not, why not? I kick it over to you.
I can certainly see an argument for him.
