If Takeshita is International champion, and Kenny challenged him to a match at Revolution, why does Takeshita now have to fight the winner of OC/Roderick to face Kenny at Revolution? AEW just advertised this championship series and I think Tony took one too many key bumps cause WTF!?!? Why is OC and Roderick even in consideration for a title shot, and if anyone would need to face them, shouldn't it be Kenny? I mean who has he even beat since he returned, Callis family jobbers and won a tag match? It was fine with Kenny just calling him out for the match, this is nonsense. And once again this proves that Tony only has a plan for people to win the belt and nothing for their reigns afterwards. Takeshita reign has lost all kinds of momentum, same for DG, Mariah, and Private Party before they lost. This has been an ongoing issue for awhile, like when Hangman and Swerve each won the title and were instantly background players.
I don't hate the idea of doing a mini-tournament or whatever, but the timing is weird and Strong is NOT a contender for the title. Not to mention that Orange has been gone without an explanation for weeks now.
