The future is female

Just finished watching the first episode of WWE LFG, where I saw a number of unique women sharing the ring with guys who looked mostly completely generic create-a-wrestler. I also look at ring time on the main WWE shows, as well as the number of quality women coming through NXT (and, to a lesser extent, the rise of Harley Cameron in AEW), and it has me wondering: are we headed to a future where women are truly getting top billing in wrestling?
Putting away preconceived biases, it just simply feels like the quality of female athlete entering the business right now is better.
