The erosion is very interesting. You can see it really kicked in when Vince was completely out the door in early 2024. It really shows just shows how much wrestling fans hated him and what he did to the product. It was like there was some AEW fans that were only watching until Vince retired or died.
I’ve said that many times. There’s a huge part of the AEW initial audience that didn’t want to watch an alternative, they wanted WWE to be better and then left as soon as it happened.
