Hogan in WCW

Looking back on when Hogan came into WCW in 94, what would you have done differently? Obviously there was some success initially.
I still feel him beating Flair for the title in his first match was rushed & should’ve built a little.
Thoughts?
They were SO handicapped by the PPV revenue sharing clause, though. Basically they had to make him the focus of the company to justify the money he was paid, and they had to do the biggest buy rate possible to cover his share of it. I think however that the rushed Flair turn was a huge mistake and doing a tag match with Hogan and Flair at Bash 94, where they win and then Flair turns on him to set up the bigger Havoc match, would have felt better. THEN Hulk can win the title.
