How to end a failing angle
By Scott Keith on 28 January 2025
Good sir…….wanted to pick your brain. When your major angle is simply not working how do you end it and still save face? Using the Death Riders as an obvious example. It’s been weeks and it’s not working…….do kill it instantly (have Moxley come out on dynamite, issue an open challenge, have Ospreay or whoever answer and win the title), do you keep trying to tweek it until it starts working, or do you pick the next PPV on the schedule and end it then? I would love your thoughts on this.
Also – let me get this straight…….you watched SNME & Collision, enjoyed them both, AND didn’t root against either company just because they both put on good shows??? What kind of sick bastard are you???
Thanks for your time.

Some people actually criticized me for liking SNME too much. Can’t win for losing.
Paul Heyman was actually the master of the pivot, aside from Justin Credible as his big weak spot. The impromptu challenge was a powerful tool in the belt, which TK refuses to utilize except for that one time with Jade Cargill. I appreciate knowing all the matches in advance but “I’m not going to fight you here in (city)!” gets a bit tiresome. Shake it up! AEW has a major issue with EVERY TV match having an obvious winner because everyone is so ruthlessly slotted into their position. The only time they deviate is the C2 and that’s only once per year.
