Storyline Over

With Solo seemingly, to me, kind out of juice, I was wondering if there is a term for people who are basically over due to the storyline they are involved with.
This isn't to say they are untalented, but thinking of people like Virgil, Wardlow, Solo or even Alex Riley. Talents who got the crowd behind/against them but for whatever reason kind of fizzled once their big story ended.
Yeah man, they got SANDOW'D.
