The Greed Machine in WWE
By Scott Keith on 14 January 2025
I haven't followed much well in over a decade of WWE but I can certainly tell all the improvements that have happened in the company since Vince left. More than anything the production and cinematography is certainly getting to levels where my eyes aren't vomiting every second i get a chance to watch. I'm liking the new directions I'm seeing.
There are plenty of stories throughout the company's history of Greed playing a role in decisions. That being said, WWE has now reached a point where not only they are making record money, but now they want as much money as they can get their hands on, regardless of the POS shilling it, and it's turning me off. They don't NEED a Hulk Hogan appearance and endorsement for his Beer, but they took it. They no longer NEED Logan Paul's products and endorsement and followers, but they take it because it's more Mo' Money Mo' Money. They don't NEED MacAfee and whatever? he brings to the table, but they'll take it because it means a few more pennies their way. All these lovely POS who if they left tomorrow, would not effect their profit trajectory, and they still want whatever coin they can bring in. I get a Rock appearance in LA for the debut, but gloating about 16k breaking the gate arena record just tells me how much they get off on how expensive those tickets are that night, yeah that was as arrogant as it gets.
*I don't know if this was in the original Saudi Deal, but if that Royal Rumble in Riyadh is a new thing, then add that to the money-grubbing list of relationships with bad people.
I get business decisions, but there are still decisions on Moral Ground they can make that would be even better for business in the long run. Anyway, this is the America in an Oligarchy we can all expect even more of.
