In the summer of 1994 Vince McMahon has seen a sign in the Poconos that Tony Dreamer is performing in the lounge Vince, with his pulse on popular culture at the time, has a vision: Johnny Dreamer, a sports entertaining lounge crooner who will make the teen girls swoon. Due to being local, cheap and because he already knows his last name Tommy Dreamer is brought in. The vignettes air of Johnny Dreamer crooning. The girls are not swooning. Dreamer fails and goes back to ECW in mid-1995 after jobbing his last 6 months

Never mind that, why HASN'T Vince ever done a lounge singer named Johnny Dreamer in all this time? That's exactly the kind of lay-up stupid gimmick he would have been throwing out there in the 90s and yet he never found anyone to do it. And it would be perfect for him because that's exactly the time period and music that I imagine him listening to at home! Even today you could do a Tony Bennett hipster wannabe who busts vinyl records on people's head as a finish. THEY'LL MAKE MILLIONS.
