Thoughts on pulling the trigger last night? While she didn't win it in the most heroic way, and the booking leading to it with her losing a bunch was less than ideal, I think her cash in was perfect and the pop was nuclear. Her organic rise in wwe has been a pleasure to watch, and the only other comparable acts I can think of that got it as quick and as over is a short list, with maybe Brock and Angle being on there. Honorable mention for Bron and Oba who aren't far behind.
I have to think even WWE has to be surprised. No one could have expected that reaction at Elimination Chamber. She started 4 years ago and 3 years ago was her debut match in NXT. She had a tough gimmick to get over with, but I think it helped her work harder and was a great baseline to get to her character now. Obviously being an
Olympic level gymnast and bodybuilder was a bit of a cheat code, but the best part is she is the one who actively chased her wwe dream after seeing Charlotte on TV one day. At 25 and barring injury, the sky is the absolute limit for her. Nxt champ, main evented a ple with Becky, MIB winner and champ in less than year on main roster, my clock will forever be set to Tiffy Time.
She’s great but I’m so bored of the briefcase gimmick and everyone cashing in the exact same way. They need to tell new stories with it and just refuse to.
