Blog Question: New Faction in Netflix Era?

Hello, Scott:
With Paul Levesque speaking of big things upcoming for WWE in the Netflix
era, I had a scenario in mind which could begin playing out on the Raw debut

A common thread tying Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins together
is their resentment of the original Bloodline’s rampage through WWE (this was
partially acknowledged during the recent backstage segment between Drew and Seth
on Raw). Throw in Owens challenging Cody Rhodes for the WWF Title at the
Royal Rumble, and all of this has caused me to wonder if we may be headed toward
the trio forming a heel faction to combat the OG Bloodline and Cody (I‘ll get to
CM Punk momentarily). I feel such an angle could make for interesting
television and kick off the Netflix era with a bang.

I also believe Punk has one hell of a heel run in him at some point, so
even if he is not added to the group initially (especially with he and Seth
wrestling on Monday), it is a possibility in the weeks/months ahead – although
having he and Rollins on the same side would admittedly require some clever
creative after the rivalry that has been built between the two.

Thanks, and yeah, it does feel like we're lacking in a big heel group that's not filled with Samoans or goths, so they certainly could take a swing for the fences with Punk running his own group of grumpy old bastards. I will likely check out the initial Netflix episode on Monday so if they don't do exactly what you've predicted I will of course blame you and trash the show for not delivering. FYI.
