I thought you may enjoy viewing an early Randy Savage/Hulk Hogan confrontation. You can hear the dollar signs being counted on commentary and later marketing ploys being broken out during sweeps. Also this has the very rare Hogan in white/Miss Elizabeth giving a brief heel promo/Hogan cartoon theme/Bruno on color commentary combination.
There’s a certain amount of sadness to the fact that Macho Man spent years obsessively chasing Hogan’s title and had t-shirts made to mess with him and basically lived his life with a goal of winning that title. And Hogan just didn’t care about Macho at all. He was just another challenger to put away with the leg drop. And then Savage finally did gain Hulk’s attention and even won the World title himself, but Hulk was hanging over him the whole time and then Hulk took the belt and his woman away from him and went right back to not caring again. No wonder Savage was nuts.
