So what was the idea behind “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell? I mean, I’d get it if Vince tried to make a knockoff Ric Flair, but why would Crockett/Rhodes?
Buddy started that gimmick outside of the NWA, and really there have been other Nature Boys in wrestling. He wasn’t really ripping Flair off specifically.
