AEW Not Down Under

So looks like they are having to move the location of the AEW Australia show due to poor ticket sales to a smaller venue. I understand sometimes you have to swing for the fences, but with AEW struggling to fill 2k venues in the US, what kind of stuff was Tony sniffing to think booking a stadium show in another country was a good idea? The Wembly show last year turned out to be outlier and they drew half the crowd this year compared to it. Look how long it took WWE to even attempt a big show there.
At some point Tony has to realize right now AEW is not in the same league as WWE and thus should not be trying to copy things they do. That is not the insult most will take that as either. The product is very cold, and they should be focused on strengthening shows in the US before worrying about traveling outside of it. Now, I wonder if WWE takes the high road on this or not, as HHH still owes Tony one for when he made a joke about WWE moving their Vegas show a few years ago. I am sure they won't acknowledge it, because no point in kicking someone when they already in a coma.
I don't know why you're making fun of the situation with the “low ticket sales” crack. I heard the real reason is that someone called in a potential dingo attack and they didn't want any babies to potentially eaten.
