Tis the (Rumble) season

Looking forward to this year's Rumble matches because of all of the uncertainty of who will win. But back in 1989, do you believe that Ted DiBiase should have won the match instead of Big John Studd? DiBiase would have benefited more with the win in my eyes and could have rode that all the way to SummerSlam. Never made sense to me having Studd win.
Studd was a complete waste of a winner. I think Dibiase was the clear play, or maybe Macho Man to really add more heat to the Megapower breakup, with him “accidentally” eliminating Hogan to win.
