Royal Rumble & Entrance themes

What are your thoughts on entrance themes being played during the Rumble match? While it certainly adds a dose of excitement, it somewhat distracts the match flow. I kind of liked it better when wrestlers would enter to no theme and crowd reactions
were more spontaneous in a sense. By the way, in what year did the change occur? 1996 if I recall?

I believe so. I do actually prefer it with music. Gives you way bigger reactions.
