Superhero streaming thread

Anyone watching the current offerings from the comic book world this month and want to discuss? I know I’m beyond burned out on Marvel and didn’t even watch Secret Invasion, but Loki lured me back in with the timey-wimey weirdness and I enjoyed the first two episodes of this season. However it leads to the biggest issue with Marvel so far, which is that everything since Endgame has been tease tease tease and goes nowhere. We’re a million movies into Phase 17 or whatever and we still don’t know who the big villain is for sure or what it’s even all about. But Loki is fun so far and OB rules. But really we’re all just waiting to get to the damn FF and XMen reboots already.

Also viewing right now Gen V on Prime and man this one is great. It’s the insane violence and social commentary of the Boys crossed with the teen angst of Riverdale and I’m all about it. The last episode actually had a reveal that made me gasp with surprise and that’s something. It’s very weird and DIFFERENT and makes me excited to get back to the main Boys universe in season 4.

Also excited to finally get the second season of Invincible next month. I was never into the original comic but the animated series was excellent so far.
