Vince McMahon hosts this evening’s panel of Gorilla Monsoon, Hillbilly Jim, Bobby Heenan, and Mr. Perfect. When asked what he did for Easter, Heenan says that he went rabbit hunting. He adds that Sid Justice is going to rip off the Ultimate Warrior’s face paint and take revenge for the ending of WrestleMania VIII.
Opening Contest: Sid Justice (w/Harvey Wippleman) (9-1) beats Chris Walker (2-2-1) after a powerbomb at 2:57:
This encounter took place in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 8. Sid lays Walker out with a clothesline and squashes him. Afterward, Wippleman comes in to do the stethoscope and stretcher routine and Sid later takes the stretcher halfway down the aisle before running it into the ring apron. This would be Sid’s last televised WWF match for three years.
Sergeant Slaughter’s squash from Wrestling Challenge is shown.
Gene Okerlund’s Update segment recaps how Ric Flair and his crew used “scitexing” to alter photographs and make it seem like Flair was with Elizabeth.
Monsoon thinks a proper punishment for Flair, Heenan, and Perfect is for them to eat the doctored photographs. Jim adds that Heenan is a “lying possum” before Monsoon corrects him and says that the term should be “lying weasel.”
The Berzerker (6-2) beats Jim Brunzell after a powerslam at 8:44:
This bout took place at Madison Square Garden on February 23. It is a long squash for the Berzerker who slams Brunzell on the concrete and takes him to the ring steps. He works some rest holds and quickly counters every hope spot Brunzell tries, going to block leg work and ramming Brunzell into the corner to escape a sleeper hold. Brunzell downs the Berzerker with a high knee but the Berzerker quickly gets up and kicks out of a dropkick at one. Then he catches Brunzell off the ropes with a powerslam. Rating: ½*
The panel discusses how Mr. Fuji has challenged the Undertaker. Heenan hypes the Berzerker as the only man who can look the Undertaker eye-to-eye and take him down. Monsoon thinks Fuji has taken too many shots with a cane.

Footage of Money Incorporated’s tag team title defense with the Natural Disasters is shown.
The Texas Tornado’s squash from Superstars airs.
Rick Martel (9-2-1) beats the Big Bossman (7-0-1) after hitting the Bossman with a nightstick in the back of the head at 12:26 shown:
The first seven minutes of this match, also from Madison Square Garden on February 23, see both men work the crowd. Martel stalls and then the Bossman messes with his hair in an armbar. A chest-first bump in the corner puts Martel in charge, who works the back and applies a long chinlock. The Bossman gets a hope spot small package after getting out of the hold for two and crotches Martel on the top rope when the Model tries an aerial maneuver. Martel attempts to thwart a comeback by grabbing Arrogance but the Bossman knocks it away and grabs it. Referee Earl Hebner prevents him from using it, though. With the referee distracted, Martel goes to the opposite corner and grabs the Bossman’s nightstick, smashing the Bossman in the back of the head as Hebner gets Arrogance out of the ring. This is a shocking result and is the first time that the Bossman has been defeated in 55 televised matches going back to 1991. Rating: *½
Heenan and Perfect complain about the smell of Jim’s hat. McMahon argues that the panel is smelling Arrogance. Monsoon complains that Arrogance is the only way Martel can win a match anymore.
A replay of Okerlund’s interview with the Ultimate Warrior on Superstars airs.
The Legion of Doom’s squash from Superstars is shown.
Heenan is on the phone with Lex Luger in an attempt to convince him to pose on the next episode of WBF BodyStars. Monsoon is angry over Luger’s comments about him at WrestleMania, saying that Luger has yet to feel “the wrath of the Gorilla.”
El Matador (12-1) beats Repo Man (11-0) via disqualification when Repo Man uses his tow rope as a weapon at 7:42:
This match also took place in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 8. El Matador gets two from a body press off the ropes and a schoolboy roll up, forcing Repo Man to drag El Matador into the buckles to turn the tide. Repo Man gets near-falls from a backdrop suplex and clothesline but El Matador kicks out of a leg drop and snapmare at one. Repo Man applies a weird cross armbreaker and referee Earl Hebner is wise enough to watch the shoulders and count each man’s shoulders down several times. El Matador fights back with a sunset flip for two and a set of clotheslines. The flying forearm knocks Repo Man to the arena floor and as El Matador argues with the referee, Repo grabs his tow rope and blasts his opponent in the gut with the metal hook on it. The bell goes off and Repo Man wraps his rope around El Matador’s neck and chokes him, eventually wrapping it after the ring post to do the same. This gets a lot of heat from the crowd and may lead to a program between these two. The match was surprisingly good until the cop out finish. It is Repo Man’s first defeat since debuting last year. Rating: **¾

Perfect wonders why Irwin R. Schyster is being given a WWF title shot on next week’s program before Ric Flair. Heenan claims that WWF Champion Randy Savage is ducking Flair. Monsoon responds that Heenan and Perfect never put a rematch clause in the WrestleMania contract, leading to Heenan and Perfect arguing over whose responsibility it was to end the show.
Tune in next week to see Virgil face Shawn Michaels! Also, El Matador wrestles Rick Martel and WWF Champion Randy Savage defends his title against Irwin R. Schyster!
The Last Word: There were several surprising results on this program. Chris Walker getting squashed was a way to write him off and was also meant to elevate Sid Justice but that plan would take a wrong turn by the end of the week. The Big Bossman’s loss to Rick Martel was a big upset since the Bossman has a feud on the horizon and Martel does not but the Bossman has not had a good program since defeating the Mountie the previous summer.
