Scott, I can’t find your email address. I have a question for the blog.
WHAT THE HELL DO YOU DO WITH COLE AND MJF?
For real, what do you do? ou don’t want to dash what I believe is some of the most pure lightning in a bottle AEW has come across in their teaming. Can that stay fresh? How long can you milk it?
If it can stay fresh, you also want the world title defended against credible challengers. I would not be surprised if Cole is in the long-term plans for world champions. If MJF is defending against the Darbys of the world while Cole is in his shadow as his partner, we’ll just be waiting for the big match while dreading the split.
So what the hell do you do?
I’d put the tag team titles on them, then do the rematch at Wembley where they split and FTR regains it. Then All Out is MJF vs Cole for the title. I know people are all “Punk in Chicago wah wah wah” but those Chicago tickets are already selling anyway.
