Hey Scott, thanks for the nice shout out in the dynamite review! I’ve been reading your stuff since the 90s (lol) so it was great to meet and chat briefly! Sorry to hear you hated winnipeg, you were pretty much in the worst part at the worst
time of the year. Downtown has been an issue here forever.

I’m seriously considering Dynamite in Saskatoon. I’ve driven out for concerts and things before and love the drive. If it happens I’ll let you know!
I loved every single thing about the AEW show. I’m a huge nerd for production and stuff, so I loved the parade of prelim matches, loved the countdown cues, banner changes, etc. I got to see lots of little behind the scenes type stuff from where
we were sitting.

My son was able to run over to the barricade by the entrance and get some high fives from wrestlers not going up the ramp, even a rub on the head from Darby – one of his favorites! Daniel Garcia even gave him some wrist tape. Everyone was
so nice to him, making for an even more awesome night.

Back in the day of more sparsely attended WWF shows at the old Winnipeg Arena, you could often sneak backstage, which is how I got to meet guys like Bret Hart. Having this AEW experience brought back all these memories! My own first
show was in 87, so it was fantastic to bring him to his first.

Winnipeg crowds are almost always super hot, even for house shows. The atmosphere for Dynamite was unreal, so exciting to be part of.
Anyway, glad you had a great time at the show! Talk to you soon!
Indeed, great to meet you and I'm glad your son had a great time. Really the key to promotions succeeding is not appealing to old farts like us who bitch about not knowing who Vikingo is, but rather kids who love Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin growing up as fans.
Also people requested photos so here's a few of mine. These ones weren't fixed in Photoshop, I just used the phone's auto-edit feature and cropped them down a bit.
