Hi Scott

Much of the discussion around Montreal revolves around its seismic impact on both the careers of those involved and the wrestling business in general. My question is: how do you see things panning out for the principals and the business in general if Bret actually does agree to swallow his pride and does a clean (or cleanish) job to Shawn at SS?
It didn’t directly affect WCW in any significant sense for business, so they would have still peaked and then self-destructed regardless. WWF probably would have done strong business when Austin went over Bret again at Wrestlemania but they likely wouldn’t have hit the heights of the Attitude Era.
