Sinclair’s Folly

Hey Scott-

So, with ROH now purchased by Tony Khan, looking back on the Sinclair ERA of the company, would you say that they missed a big opportunity to create AEW with ROH a decade ago? So many amazing talents went through but it seemed like management were happy to let the company be a prestige indie, and not a real competitor to WWE.
The absolute stated goal of the company under Sinclair was to provide cheap programming for their network and worry about making money second, sadly. So it was a feature, not a bug, as far as Sinclair was concerned.
