When Stone Cold came back to the WWE at No Way Out 2003, was it always expected when he left in 2002, that he would be back for WM 19?, Did they know when they made the deal for him to come back did they have longer term plans or was he always planning to retire

He only found out about his career ending neck injury shortly before Wrestlemania, so no, he wasn't planning to retire at that point. They didn't really have long term plans for him, though, because of the way he left in 2002.
