Brock more of a son to Vince than Shane?

From the sounds of it from WOR, Shane's ideas for the Rumble were all shot down by Brock. Shane then sulked and talked down to everyone after that
Question is, is Shane actually dumb enough to tell Vince 'its Brock or me?' Cos we all know how that went….
I feel like he might be that dumb, yes.
