End the split?

Hey Scott,

So, with the WWE releasing more talent (almost completely wiping out what triple H built), I began to think deeper. After the demise of WCW, the WWE expanded their roster and began the brand split, which they lazily became their own competition. Since, there is a legit company out there in AEW, do you think the WWE is thinking “we don't need 250 people on our roster anymore” and eventually end the stupid brand split, while just leaving NXT to develop the people they think will move the needle in the future?
They're never ending the brand split.
