What if there were 2 Real Americans??

After watching the glorious brawl on the Network between Slaughter and Shiek (loved them for leaving it unedited!), I'm wondering what if Slaughter never left for the Hasbro money and stayed in WWF?
Would Hogan still be paraded around as the Real American or would Sarge gladly hold up that end of it and have a successful run? I sense Hogan would feel threatened by him for it.
Bonus question: what was more awesome: Sheik and Sarge or a bloodied Andre whipping everyone's ass? Love the 80s!!
We all do. I think they would have eventually phased Sarge down to avoid crossover with Hulk, but MAN a heel Sarge turning on him for WM2 might have been something.
