Seth Rollins calls Big E “boy”

So, Seth Rollins referred to Big E as “boy” at the end of RAW on Monday. Is this WWE's pathetic attempt to be controversial & edgy, or just Rollins being a complete moron?
Having not watched RAW, I'm gonna guess Seth was being a moron.
