WWE announced their PPV schedule for 2022 and SummerSlam is in July for the first time ever. Why? Because they are running a Labor Day weekend PPV for the first time ever. Hmm, I wonder if any other wrestling company has any sort of Labor Day weekend tradition??
Vince can do whatever he wants but I think wrestling fans in 2021 are going to quickly tire of promotional tricks from 1987. Absolutely no need for stuff like this and it feels kind of petty. Your thoughts?
“Kind of” petty is an understatement. Especially since WWE doesn't make anything notable on PPV any longer and the only logical reason is to mess with the other company.
