Very prescient indeed, Mr. Keith

Hey Scott,
Still buzzing from Punk's AEW debut, and got me searching the archives only to find an eerily clairvoyant piece you wrote in early 2014 about Punk and Bryan in the lead-up to WM30. Thought you're readers might find it an interesting read in this point in wrestling history:
A few thoughts and would definitely enjoy yours:
– Hadn't really mentally linked Punk with Bryan much, but this article definitely has me curious about the news about each of them joining AEW breaking in the same week.
– I thought the last few paragraphs were especially insightful where you write that it may have been smarter for Punk to leave before the fans could turn on him. Even though it wasn't his primary intention he created max demand through scarcity which led to the “CM Punk pop/wrinkle in time” at The First Dance that won't soon be forgotten.
Thanks for consideration as always…
I’m always happy to take credit but I 100% didn’t write that piece. The only Mitch Hedberg quote I ever use is the one about the wall being the world’s greatest tennis player.
