What happens if Vince doesn't fire Warrior for testing off the charts for the good IcoPro? Does he eventually win the WWF title? I feel like Bret probably never gets it from Flair. And then we get Flair Warrior at Rumble.Yoko vs Warrior at Mania with Luger vs Warrior to follow later in the year had to have Vince all sorts of worked up. Or does Vince know the steroid trial is coming at this point and knows Warrior won't be around soon?
There was absolutely a plan to put the World title on Warrior by the end of the year, probably winning it from Flair at the Rumble as you note, and he was supposed to going into Wrestlemania as champion. Where it goes from there, no one knows. Luger v. Warrior sounds like as good an idea as any, or maybe Warrior defends against Yokozuna?
