Random AWA question

Was looking through the AWA Tag Title history and noticed they never did the Verne and Greg Father/Son combination as Tag Champs
I wonder why they never bothered with that one, even briefly?
Greg held them for a long time with Jim Brunzell and Verne had them multiple times with various partners
In theory it could have been a good idea as Greg would have probably gotten a rub from tagging with his dad, and it would have shared the load for the aging Verne
Well we wouldn't want people to think that Greg was getting preferential treatment or anything…
