Mike Bennett-Maria re-signing with the WWE

Where you surprised Mike Bennett and Maria re-signed with the WWE after asking for their releases just a few months ago? Vince McMahon must have paid them well to be on a show few people watch. If so, kudos to them.
Vince's current policy is to sign EVERYONE and sign them to long-term soul-crushing deals so that there's no chance of AEW embarrassment again. So on one hand, guys are making record-breaking money if their contracts are up at the moment. On the other hand, it's probably going to be causing some regret, like joining the Columbia Music Club or signing a cell phone deal for an iPhone that you drop the next day and still have to pay out.
