The peak of hulkamania

Pretty much everyone accepts WM3 was the absolute highest point for hulkamania and 1980s WWF but I think the buyrate for WM5 blew it out the water.

There are probably a number of reasons WM5 is not looked back on so fondly but do you think, assuming the deal with trump was not already in place, could the mega powers exploding have drawn a crowd anywhere near like WM3 and if so, would that be seen as the high point of the era or is nothing topping the image of Hulk slamming Andre?

I'd say WM3 was the peak. Although the Megapowers deal was huge, Vince was already planning his next Hogan by that point.
