The Big Tom Magee Question

Hey Scott,
Ok, so, what would have happened if Tom Magee were good? Like, what if he continued to improve after the Bret Hart match, and showed some personality…When, how, does Vince replace Hogan? What would the broader implications possibly be if Hogan for-real gets replaced by the end of the 80s?
Basically the timeline for Magee's development suggests that Ultimate Warrior got his spot instead, and we know how that worked out for them. So you can kind of fill in the blanks yourself, I guess.
