Calling the match

Serious question. Why is it that in wrestling, tradition dictates that the heel call the match?
Because the traditional structure of the match is that the heel is the one getting most of the offense in while the babyface sells, so the heel is naturally the one to dictate which moves are used and in what order. Plus it makes it easier to avoid situations where guys don't know where to take the match or what to do. You're the heel? You decide.
