Hello Scott, 3 part question for you.
1. Why wasn't Buff a bigger star in WCW? Had a good look, solid enough in the ring and at one point, I swear he was one of the top 5 most over people they had.
2. Had WWE kept him more then a week, do you think he would of been a bigger deal? Dude got released at 30 years old. Surely he had another 6-7 years in him before his body broke down.
3. In every interview he's done, Buff maintains that had WWE waited one week to run the infamous match with Booker, things would of went alot better being that they were in Atlanta the next week. Do you agree?
1. He broke his neck in 1998 and returned as about 1/10th of the worker he was before he left. Plus they jerked the fans around with his aborted babyface turn and killed off whatever momentum he had from his big return.
2. Hard to say. His shelf life was done by that point and he was pretty far down the depth chart on an all-star team of heavy hitters, but I think he could have coasted on his name and charisma for a while and done OK.
3. 100% agree. Wrong place at the wrong time.
