Wrestler Getting Too Much Offense?

By Scott Keith on 1 April 2019

What match/matches do you think a wrestler got in way too much offense considering the time and circumstances? Here's an example of what I'm talking about; A few weeks before WrestleMania 12 in 1996, Shawn Michaels wrestled Leif Cassidy (Al Snow) on an episode of Raw. As one might imagine, it was a good match. However, given that Snow's Cassidy character was part of a jobber comedy tag-team at the time, he had no business going toe to toe with the soon to be WWF Champion for 15-20 minutes before losing.

Tazz vs Kurt Angle from Rumble 2000 was a good example, where Tazz was supposed to come off as a guy demolishing chickenshit heel Angle and now you watch it and Angle comes off as the big star.
