WrestleMania IV

At WrestleMania III, they packed the Pontiac Silverdome, and even if they didn’t draw the claimed 93,000, it was a huge crowd. Fast forward one year, and they’re having WrestleMania IV in front of 16,000 at the Trump Plaza. Is there a reason you know of why they moved to such a smaller venue, or was Vince just trying to suck up to Trump? Keep up the great work!

Both 4 and 5 were paid shows, which meant that Vince got guaranteed sellouts up front and Trump handled the ticket sales. Vince made more from them than he would have doing another stadium show, which is kind of bonkers.
